ROBERT WYLIE
Robert Wylie’s instinctive feel for furniture and interior design was born of his North Carolina roots and university studies in Fine Arts. For years, he traveled the globe honing his design aesthetic and skills, all the while importing Asian furnishings and home décor for sale in the states.
In 2007 he founded Urban Colony, a retail and To The Trade home furnishings showroom in Los Angeles – which also serves as genesis to Robert’s numerous fine interior design projects in the area. But from the outset, he was faced with the perpetual challenge of sourcing quality, fairly-priced upholstered furniture that could be manufactured and delivered in a timely manner.
Ultimately Robert launched his own solution in Black Label Home – offering bench made upholstered furniture, artisan crafted in Los Angeles.
